Unbound: Resurgence

It was a time of sadness, of grief and of suffering. Never before had the world experienced such horror, such devastation.
But we are a hardy race. After it was all over, man began picking up the pieces around him, and as hands reached across oceans, help came rushing in from across the globe.
It was a time for revival, for restoration.
For Resurgence.

This track was very experimental. Originally meant to be a song for Noella, our main vocalist at the time, it began to almost build itself as the guitar replaced the need for vocals.

Very clearly driven by Sashi, it was converted into a mindblowing instrumental and major musical experiment. The change of beat in the middle was Mrinal's brainwave and only he could have pulled it off. In fact, for some time after we made that song, the rest of us had no idea what was happening in that section!

It was recorded at Purple Beast Studios, as was the rest of our album. Our sound engineer was Dharmendra "DC" Chakrasali, and if you think the recording quality and mix sound great, you know whom we have to thank!
