Unbound: Coloured For This World

'Coloured for this world' is our entry into the wonderful world of songwriting. This, the first song Phenom ever wrote, was out of compulsion from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore. Their western music competition demanded that all playing bands had one original composition and that is how this song was written in a haphazard manner two days before the competiton and completed on the morning of the competition.

From there it has evolved to be our most well structured song with changes made to it over the next two years. We feel it is our most musically complete song and will always remain special as the first song we ever wrote.

The studio version that you hear here is almost identical to what we play on stage, and highlights DC's unbelievable mixing and sound balancing skills. He knew how special this song was to us, and probably spent more time mixing this song than any other on this album.

And the result? Sheer magic, as you can hear for yourselves.

It was recorded at Purple Beast Studios, as was the rest of our album. Our sound engineer was Dharmendra "DC" Chakrasali, and if you think the recording quality and mix sound great, you know whom we have to thank!

If you have any comments, please let us know, we'd love to hear from you!

We hope you enjoy "Coloured for this World"!
