Sashi brings with him all the genius in music that one associates with the
North East. He's is another one of the multi talented musicians among Phenom
- it was not an uncommon sight to see both Mrinal and Sashi performing a
ritual dance, switching between drums and lead guitars before a song.
Its a special treat that few receive close up in watching Sashi playing the lead guitar. His fingers always seem to glide over the strings with a deceptive ease inspiring many to imitate but few to replicate. His confidence and style on guitar and drums was needed for the final emergence of Phenom. Sashi was the guitarist and co-composer of the songs on the album "Unbound". Sashi left Bangalore after completing his studies, but continues to influence the band remotely. |
