We did it ... if you had asked when we started out some 2 years back, what our biggest dream was ... we'd probably have said ... to play in the finals of Strawberry Fields and today we did just that and much more.
We won the college band category in Strawberry Fields, we were awarded the prize for "The most original band" among all 45 bands that took part, which is quite an achievement. Our original music was well appreciated by and large. Gaurav won the Best Bass Guitarist award and JD won the Best Keyboardist award. All in a days work !!
Its been a giant leap for us since two years back we played at the same competition and were laughed at; we didn't have any original music and we scored zero on originality. Its been a lot of work and playing but has been worth it every *little step* of the way .. !!
Its back to the music room now for practice and preparations - there are so many things coming up - Christ College, Linux Bangalore/2003, our top-secret project....
Ahhhh, the good times, they roll!
